Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy is a barefoot massage technique using deep compression effleurage strokes that glide over the body. Gravitational force is combined with centrifugal and centripetal movements. This creates a structural change in chronic soft tissue damage. Application will provide deep relaxation and stimulate the lymphatic system of the body. Bars are used above the head for support and balance and a light lubricant is applied to the body. This is a luxurious deep tissue massage.
Guided Mediation with Visualization:
Meditation provides a way to relax, de-stress, accelerate your spiritual development and enhance your quality of life. Guided meditation is easy, incredibly enjoyable, and inspiring. Through spoken word guidance and visualization, which is the use of mental imagery to effect positive changes in your life, you can achieve deep levels of relaxation, promote positive changes in your attitude and your perspective. By putting just a little time aside to experience a guided visualization, you can eliminate the effects of stress and negative thinking, improve your health, and boost your quality of life in many ways.
Ayurvedic Nutrition Counseling:
After determining your dosha, you will be provided with an informational packet that will include a summary of Ayurveda, the doshas, and how they affect your mind and body, a personalized diet plan, sample recipes, and ongoing support.
Warm coconut oil is applied to the body using long, gliding strokes. This technique is used to promote a deep sense of rest and relaxation, and to relieve muscle tension.
Deep Tissue Massage:
Deep Tissue Massage is similar to Swedish Massage, and focuses on the deepest layers of muscle and fascia. This technique targets knots to release chronic muscle tension.
Hot Stone Massage:
Each hot stone session features the placement of smooth, water heated stones at key points on the body to allow for deeper relaxation of the muscles, melting away tension.
A mixture of either sugar or salt, coconut oil, and specially selected essential oils are used to exfoliate the skin, and then removed with steamed towels. Warm coconut oil is then applied to the skin for hydration, leaving your skin smooth and soft.
Herb Ball Thai Massage:
Thai Herbal compresses contain herbs that have medicinal properties and have been shown to have anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and other beneficial muscle relaxant properties. In addition, the essential oils released from the herbs have beneficial effects for the skin and aromatherapy effects. It’s the Thai equivalent to hot stone massage.
Reflexology (30 min):
Reflexology is a therapy based on the principle that there are small and specific areas of innervation in the hands and feet that correspond to specific muscle groups or organs of the body. Through the application of pressure on particular areas of the hands or feet, reflexology is said to promote benefits such as the relaxation of tension, improvement of circulation, and support of normalized function in the related area in the body. 30 min/45 min
A Thai Massage incorporates compression with a large variety of stretching movements that affect the entire body by increasing flexibility, releasing both deep and superficial tension, and helping the body’s natural energy to flow more freely. The effect of these stretching movements, in which the client plays only a passive role, is similar to yoga. Thai Massage is great for anyone who needs to both relax and reenergize.
